Heels And Foot Health
Imagine walking 5 miles in 3 inch Stilettos? If you have every walked long distance in high heels or uncomfortable shoes, this can have damaging affects on the foot of the wearer as well as on their muscles. Many people fail to realize that when you where uncomfortable shoes and you walk long distances this can affect the knees if not right away, it will eventually catch up to the person. A young person, who can walk miles at a time in heels or uncomfortable shoes, will suffer some pain when they are finished their fashion hike. They may not realize that this could also affect their foot health in years to come. Corns and bunions are just the beginning of their pain.
For the woman who craves high heels can experience several injuries to the foot including hammer toes and stress fractures not to mention sore feet. Squared toe fashion can is better to wear because of the natural curve of the toes. Low heeled shoes with thickness will cause less damage to the foot. The only draw back is these types of shoes may be recommended for the foot but is damaging to the knees. Thicker shoe soles have a shock absorbent and put less pressure on ones foot. The upper fabric of a persons shoe should made from leather or a microfiber. This allows the foot more room to move its toes around, and will not constrict the foot if swelling occurs.
Being that heels are necessary, they should not be worn daily. Flat or low heal shoes can be very fashionable if worn with the right garments. Many women who take public transportation into work wear sneakers and when they get into the office where they do less walking, they put on their high heels as a fashion statement. When its time for them to return home, they place their sneakers back on for total comfort.
After wearing heels, a woman should definitely soak their feet at night, even if their feet are not swollen or hurting. Soaking the feet in warm (not hot) water with shower gel or bath oils will help relieve tension in the feet. Another activity that is very helpful and should be done is mild foot massages. Last but certainly not least is getting a pedicure professionally. A professional pedicure will not only help relieve tension in the feet but it relaxes the entire body.

National Parksfor various levels of trekking, at Pirin, Central Balkan or Rila
The six very different mountain ranges vary from high, snow-covered peaks to gentle green slopes and forests. They harbour thermal springs and mineral spas. The valleys are rich with Balkan flora and fauna.
The mountain dwellers have their own distinctive customs, crafts, colourful folklore, religious beliefs and speech. They welcome guests with typical Bulgarian warm-hearted hospitality, and are delighted to share age-old traditions and cooking.
Rural Bulgaria is particularly poor and many people here live under the poverty line. The villagers mainly live off self-sufficiency and preserve almost everything they produce, even meat.
Mineral Spas & treatments
People travel from far and wide to discover the health benefits to be gained from the Balkan mountain mineral spas. The main ones are located at:
- Hissarya 22 mineral springs for the treatment of urological and liver diseases

Dobroudja Hotel at Albena resort, Ambassador Hotel at Golden Sand resort, Riviera Holiday Club, Sunny Day and Grand Hotel Varna at St.Constantine resort and Pomorie Hotel in the coastal town of Pomorie.
The boost in tourist amenities has led to many of the luxury 4 and 5 star hotels offering spa centres, including pools, saunas, jacuzzis, solariums and fitness centres. Some of the best can be found in: Castle Hrankov Hotel in Sofia, Grand Hotel Veliko in Lovech, Plovdiv Novotel in Plovdiv and Kempinski Hotel in Zografski, Sofia.
Golf
Despite the abundance of open space, golf is in its early stages of development in Bulgaria. It is developing at a steady pace to create world-class facilities that will not only support the growth of golf in Bulgaria but act as a focus for tourism.
However at the moment there are only three golf courses in Bulgaria. Todays courses are located at Ihtiman, opened in 2000, 40km from Sofia, and at Sliven, opened in 2004, 90km from the Black Sea.
Due to a huge increase in tourism and foreign interest in Bulgaria, several more golf courses are underway. One of these will be located at Razgrad, in the north-east, about 90km from the Black Sea. More are scheduled to open within the next few years: two at Kavarna and one at Primorsko, near Sozopol. Another course is near completion in the ski town of Bansko.
A large golf complex at Dolna Banya, between Kostenets and Borovets, near Ihtiman, now the country’s foremost ski resort is near completion. Its timely opening is scheduled for 2007, the year of Bulgaria’s entry into the European Union. The complex will include 220 apartments around a comprehensive sports complex, with access to the golf course by a short footpath.
Additional outdoor facilities will include: tennis, volleyball, squash, badminton, lawn bowls, boules (boccia), shooting, archery, croquet, mountain biking, and fishing nearby.
Indoor facilities will include: 140-seat main restaurant and cabaret stage, a huge main bar (perhaps the largest in Bulgaria), a sports bar with projection TV, snooker, pool, table football, table tennis, a Chinese restaurant, Indian restaurant, fast food cafeteria, pizzeria, gymnasium, sauna, massage parlour, clinic, chemist, sports shop and mini market.
Real estate prices in all golf resorts are set to rise substantially with increased public recognition and media coverage. Ian Woosnam, the 2006 Ryder Cup Captain, has increased international awareness whilst becoming heavily involved in the development of two of the new golf complexes at Bansko and Balchik, with their accompanying leisure centres and hotels.

Harnessing Hypnosis Mind Power Secret Self Unconscious
According to many researchers, hypnosis is far more than just a party trick. In fact, it significantly changes how the brain works. Hypnosis can significantly affect activity in the part of the brain that is responsible for dealing with and responding to errors. As you can already see, there is a lot of potential in hypnosis, and it should not be taken lightly.
Ever wonder why under hypnosis, people can do extraordinary things that they normally wouldn’t be able to if they were in a fully conscious state? It’s because hypnosis effects the area of the brain that controls higher-level executive functions. To understand hypnosis you must first understand that our minds have more control over our bodies than most people think. Because of this recent research, they are developing ways to help cancer patients deal with painful treatments by way of hypnosis-now that’s mind power.
There are still many clinical trials and tests to be completed before the world is ready to move onto the next steps of hypnosis, however. They are performing these clinical trials by using MRI’s to study brain activity in hypnosis-induced people, and non-hypnosis-induced people and then having them perform certain functions. They then measure which parts of the brain are more active. Recent trials have indicated that when under hypnosis, the brain activity is more focused and is able to respond to errors and evaluate emotional outcomes much more efficiently than the one’s that were not under hypnosis.
It seems as though the more hypnosis is practiced, the more our brains tend to act in that higher level more often on their own. With continuous practice, people can learn to harness mind power. Imagine curing a cold right away just by believing your body has the power to do so!
Here’s an another example of how much control our mind has over our physical body. Under hypnosis, the doctor placed a COLD quarter on the skin of the patient. He told the patient it had just come out of a fire, and it was very, very hot. Almost immediately, the patient’s skin began to blister and burn as though a hot quarter had been placed on their skin when in fact, the quarter was COLD. There’s no possible way that the quarter could have burned them, and it didn’t. The patient’s mind put it all together, and actually did the burning.
Imagine if we could control our minds to that degree while NOT under hypnosis! I’m not talking about burning ourselves, I’m talking about curing disease, cancer, and and taking full control of our emotional well-being so that we never have to suffer from things such as depression, panic attacks, anxiety, etc.

Guide for Quitting Smoking Cigarettes
Most smokers are afraid that they cant quit, that cigarettes are more powerful than they are. Actually this is fear from the fear, because if you are still smoking, how can you know that its hard without cigarettes? This is a result from your habit that is controlling you so much that it wont allow you to imagine how life can look like without smoking.
This point brings another question or excuse of yours. I love smoking; I love the ritual, etc. This is partially true, you love the time spent with yourself in that moment. But the cigarette will burn after two minutes, so why light it in the first place? Shell burn but the pleasure will only last for two minutes. It will last for two minutes and only two minutes. No more. This conditioning will continue until you are brave enough to interrupt this pattern.
First thing you have to do is to hate that youre controlled. How can you be a free human being, when someone or something controls you? This should be the first milestone for you. The rest are simply techniques that will help you substitute the smoking habit.
You cant stop smoking without thinking and trying to implement a non-smoker habit.
After you are sure that you understand this, and only after youre sure, follow these instructions:
If you can hold out without smoking for only one minute, dont you think that you can do it in the next minute? Sure you can. You should battle the craving by the minute. It is a much shorter time period to fight your battle and win. This makes the war all that much easier.
Your first trigger occurs at a point where the body is conditioned to enjoy a cigarette along with a drink or after a meal, etc. These triggers will last for a maximum of 5 minutes. During these 5 minutes your entire body will convince you that it is okay to light a cigarette, which you have reason and it will come up with so many excuses that it will be hard for you to say no.
Second, as I mentioned in the secret for becoming a non-smoker, you should not involve yourself in your personal fight with the habit. You cant win your habit in this way, because there will be a period when youre feeling down and that will be a good enough reason for lighting a cigarette.
You should also be aware that youll be very confused in the first 3 days and this is normal and you should accept it. This is the period where your brain is forcing you to light a cigarette and attempts to convince you with what may seem reasonable excuses. Since you programmed your brain to feel pleasure whenever you light a cigarette, it is now telling you that something might be wrong without a cigarette or that something might be missing from your life.
Your brain is like a big and mighty ship, but youre the captain, and it will follow your navigation orders, but needs time to take the right course. There is also wind that is blowing your ship in different directions, and there is still a force that is pushing the ship towards the old navigation commands. Dont forget the power that you as a captain posses, you can change the course of your ship in any direction you want.
By my experience youll need only 3 days to start feeling like a non-smoker.
Another very helpful thing is to try to help some of your friends who are smokers. Try telling them about this techniques and theories and check their opinion. You can make some kind of pact, trying to work together to beat this habit. At the bottom of every post there is a link labeled Tell a friend!. Use this link to forward this message and at least remind your friends that they can quit. This can be very stimulating for you and your strength to quit smoking.

Get Rid of Acne
Many people in the world think acne is something that is really negative. Although acne does not really affect anything else but the physical look of a person, but to some this may affect them very negatively. There are many different ways to get rid of acne, one might try different acne treatment products. Because acne affects all age group, there are products made for many different age groups to help getting rid of acne.
Some acne treatment products include Zyporex and ClearPores. Usually these products should not give any side effects but in some cases they do give some side effects. Usually products like this usually get rid of your acne within a week and sometimes in a few days. Some of these products are very costly but sometimes they are very cheap, also sometimes they are even given out to you for free just so you can try it. Most of these products are simple to use and may also help you reduce any more acne appearing on your skin.
The second type of acne treatment is using natural remedies. This is getting more and more popular over the past few years and many are using it. This is because of two main reasons; it is cheaper and it does not give side effects. Some think that if they do not give side effects it will take longer for them to get rid of the acne. That is not true because natural acne treatment products, such as Green tea extract and Licorice Root Extract, still get rid of the acne before a week but most of the time within a few days. They give no side effect and these natural remedies have been used for sometimes thousands of years and most of these remedies are being used to cure other medical things.
The third popular way to get rid of acne is using home made acne treatments. This treatment is quite popular because one can use different remedies until they locate one they like and that functions best for them. So this way they can change around remedies a lot and usually these remedies are natural so it has the benefits of natural acne treatments.

Eyewitness Testimony: An Enduring Topic Of Psychological Enquiry
The study of eyewitness testimony can be traced back over 100 years. This article outlines how it all began and examines the most commonly researched areas of investigation.
In 1896 Albert Von Schrenk-Notzing testified at the trial of a man accused of murdering three women. Drawing on research into memory and suggestibility he argued that pre-trial publicity meant that witnesses could not distinguish between what they actually saw and what had been reported in the press.
The formal study of eyewitness testimony is usually examined within a framework of cognitive processing, which put simply refers to the different ways in which we make sense of the world around us.
We do this by employing the mental skills at our disposal such as thinking, perception, memory, awareness, reasoning and judgment. Although cognitive processes can only be inferred and cannot be seen directly, they all have very important practical implications within a legal context.
Given that the way we think, perceive, reason and judge can be less than perfect its easy to understand why the factors influencing these processes are studied by psychologists’; not least because of the grave implications that this imperfection can have within the criminal justice system. As Huff and Rattner note:
the single most important factor contributing to wrongful conviction is eyewitness misidentification.
Stages of eyewitness memory:
Stage 1: Witnessing the incident.
When witnessing an incident, information about the event is entered into memory, however, research has shown that the accuracy of this initial information acquisition can be influenced by a number of factors.
Take the duration of the event being witnessed for instance. In a very simple experiment conducted by Clifford and Richards(1977), participants are instructed to approach a number of police officers and engage in conversation for either 15 or 30 seconds.
Thirty seconds after the conversation ends, the experimenter asks the police officer to recall details of the person they had just been speaking to using a 10-item checklist. The checklist contains items relating to the persons appearance such as hair colour, facial hair etc. The results of the study showed that in the longer 30 second condition, police were significantly more accurate in their recall.
Stage 2: Waiting period before giving evidence.
This stage is concerned with the period of retention between perception i.e., seeing an incident and the subsequent recollection of that incident. Unsurprisingly, research has consistently found that the longer the gap between witnessing an incident and recalling the incident, the less accurate the recollection of that incident becomes.
There have been numerous experiments, usually related to a staged event, that support this contention. Malpass and Devine (1981), for instance, compared the accuracy of witness identifications after 3 days (short retention period) and 5 months (long retention period). The study found no false identifications after 3 days but after 5 months, 35% of identifications were false.
Stage 3: Giving evidence.
The final stage in the eyewitness memory process relates to the ability of the witness to access and retrieve information from memory. In a legal context, the retrieval of information is usually elicited through a process of questioning and it is for this reason that a great deal of research has investigated the impact of types of questioning on eyewitness memory.
The most substantial body of research has concerned leading questions, which has consistently shown that even very subtle changes in the wording of a question can influence subsequent testimony.
One of the most notable researchers in this field is Elizabeth Loftus who has been investigating eyewitness testimony for over thirty years. In one of her classic studies, participants witnessed a film of a car accident and were asked to estimate the speed of the cars involved. One group of witnesses were asked to estimate the speed of the cars when they contacted each other. A second group of witnesses were asked to estimate the speed of the cars when they smashed each other.
On average the first ‘contacted’ group gave an estimate of 31.8 miles per hour. Whereas, the average speed in the ’second’ smashed group was 40.8 miles per hour.
Experimental validity:
In any discussion of eyewitness memory, you’ll see the terms, ‘experiment’, ‘participants’ and ’staged event’ frequently used. This is because the majority of research into eyewitness memory has been conducted within psychology laboratories.
This raises the very important issue of whether it is possible to generalise the findings obtained under these artificial conditions to real life cases.
The simple, if unsatisfactory answer is that it is very difficult to say. Take for instance the work of Yuille and Cutshall, these researchers conducted a case study with witnesses to a real shooting incident, interviewing them just after the event and again 5 months later. They concluded that the performance and accuracy of the witnesses differed in several respects to what would be expected according to the experimental literature.
However, the strength of laboratory based research is that the experimenter is able to exercise a great deal of control over what happens. In the case study reported by Yuille and Cutshall, it was impossible to know the extent to which the witnesses had conferred and how much media coverage of the incident they had seen, and how much influence this had on their testimony.

Discover 4 Easy Ways To Prevent Motion Sickness
Preventing motion sickness is easier than you may think. All it requires is a little advance planning. If you wait for the symptoms to rear their ugly heads before starting treatment, you are already too late. Instead, you can one-up them by preventing motion sickness in the first place. Here are some tips that will help you prevent motion sickness.
1. Plan in advance where you will sit while traveling and pick your travel position carefully: For instance, if you are riding in a car, argue for the drivers seat. If you are traveling by airplane, try to get a window seat over the wing for best results. And if you are planning to go on a cruise opt for a lower cabin located in the middle of the ship. These chosen spots will offer the least amount of motion and the greatest likelihood for preventing motion sickness before it even starts.
2. If you were not able to select one of the “anti-motion-sickness” travel positions mentioned above, you can still prevent motion sickness by taking appropriate medication. Fortunately, there are many over-the-counter medications that are effective in preventing the symptoms of motion sickness. The active ingredients in these medications relax the stimulation of the inner ear and blocks the motion messages to the brain., thereby preventing the brain from receiving conflicting sensory messages which is the main cause of motion sickness.
3. If you are reluctant to take medication because of the side effects (e.g. drowsiness), there are also natural remedies you can use to prevent motion sickness. Try using ginger. It works wonders and comes in many different forms which make it convenient to travel with and to be taken whenever needed. Ginger can be taken as a pill, sucked on as a candy, or brewed and drunk as a tea ( this is my personal favorite)!
4. Motion sickness bands are another option worth trying. These bands are specially designed to treat suffers of motion sickness. They fit on your wrist and apply acupressure that helps to keep nausea at bay.
Clearly, there are many options and remedies that you can use to prevent motion sickness. So you don’t have to suffer through the misery of travel sickness when you travel anymore. Plan ahead and be prepared. And when travel time comes around, head off for some well deserved R&R confident that motion sickness will not put a damper on your fun. Happy Travels.

Buying Tips For Bath Toys
Weve seen how Ernie loves his rubber duckie. And just like him, you want your kid to have a bath toy that he will enjoy taking his bath with. You go to the toy store in search of the perfect bath toy for your kid but found yourself in the middle of too many choices which leaves you puzzled and wondering which ones to get for your kid.
Bath Toys just like any normal toy requires careful thought and consideration from the parents before purchase. Follow these tips and you wont have a hard time making your selection.
Tip No. 1: Durability. Look for bath toys that that are made of durable materials that will not easily wear out even though frequently thrown around or squeezed so hard.
Tip No. 2: Safety. Opt for bath toys that are made of cloth, rubber, or soft materials that will not hurt your kid in case he accidentally hits himself with it. Check to make sure that a toy does not have sharp or pointy edges, small parts that can easily fit your kids mouth or parts that can come off loose like little sewn buttons. Also make sure that it does not have any part that can rust since bath toys are always submerged in the water.
Tip No. 3: Educational Value. Choose toys that are not only fun to play with but also stimulate your kids mind. Give him a bath puppet to encourage imaginative pretend plays and positive interaction or give him a multi-colored wash glove to improve his visual perception and color discrimination. Always remember that every single minute of your childs day holds a possibility for learning and mind enriching activities, this includes bath time.
Tip No. 4: Holds your kids interest. Of course, a bath toy that will hold your kids attention only for a few seconds is obviously not a good buy. Select toys that are fun for your kid to play with and that have features or activities that will captivate your kids attention for the whole duration of the bath and even for the days to come. It is also smart to alternate different sets of bath toys everyday so that your kid is not easily bored with them.
Tip No. 5: Budget. Dont go for toys that will hurt your pockets or those extremely cheap ones that seem too good to be true but are in reality just poorly constructed. Go for toys that come in reasonable and affordable prices but are guaranteed to be made of the highest standards of safety and quality to ensure that you only get the best for your child.
Even though the wide selection of bath toys may make it hard for you to make your choice, with these simple tips, the right kinds of bath toys are not hard to find.
If youre kid is terrified of tubby time, its not a cause for worry. Babies normally undergo a stage where they are scared of water and although it usually passes on its own, there are certain ways you can do to help alleviate your babys fear of bath.
